YOUTH HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL PREPARATORY LEAGUE OF LOUISIANA
AMENDMENTS
Youth High School Football Preparatory League of Louisiana will operate by Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA), www.lhsaa.org , with the following changes:
All Teams:
-
Two (2) points – Score from 5 yard line
-
Two (2) points – Kick from the 3-yard line (Not live)
-
One (1) point – Score from 3-yard line
-
Clock runs with 18 point lead or more
-
Players must play in 60% of Regular season games to participate in Playoffs
-
No Rubber footballs
-
No electronic communication allowed on the field or sidelines
-
Home Team wears Dark Jerseys

Eight (8) minute quarters

Play clock is 25 seconds

B TEAMS
-
Eight (8) minute quarters

Play clock is 25 seconds
-
Option to play with TDY or TDJ Football

No Live punts, However Teams are allowed to have a kick returner to field but not advance the Kick.

The ball becomes dead at the end of the kick and the ball remains with the Receiving team even if it is muffed and recovered by the kicking team.

C TEAMS
-
Eight (8) minute quarters.
-
Play clock is 25 seconds.
-
No direct line-up in front of the center position.
-
No Quarterback sneaks from under the center.
-
K- 2 Football.
-
No live punts. Thirty (30) yards walk off – Thirty (30) yards walk off.
-
Teams can punt from anywhere on the field, however the ball will not be placed beyond the 20 yard line.
-
Coaches on the field must be 10 yards behind the deepest player.
-
No Verbal coaching or gesturing after the huddle break.
-
Any violation of this rule, there will be an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty called with an automatic 15 yards assessed.

D TEAMS

-
Two (25) minute running halves. Last 5 minutes of 2nd half Regulation time.
-
Game clock stop after scoring until ready for Kickoff.
-
Play clock is 40 seconds.
-
One time-out per half.
-
K- 2 Football.
-
No kickoff – ball placed on the thirty (30) yard line.
-
No direct line-up in front of the center position.
-
No Quarterback sneaks from under the center.

Game Day Management

All teams must check in 45 minutes prior to the start of their game.
-
All Players must have a State Issued ID to play in the game (No Exceptions).

All teams must have a minimum of Seventeen (17) players to Play the game without a League mandated forfeiture fee, but game will still be forfeited.
-
Maximum of eight (8) coaches on the sideline with badges.
-
All coaches must wear Coaching Attire on sidelines.
-
Maximum of two (2) Cheer coaches on the sideline with badges.
-
Forfeiture Fee - $750 Must be paid prior to the next game. Payments should be made to the opponent affected by the forfeiture.
-
$100.00 Fee for lack of chain crews. Must have a full crew three person crew. Should consist of teenage to adult age volunteers.
-
Pre and post season games entrance fee is $10.00. All regular season games entry fee is $10.00. Children 4 and under are free.
-
All host teams must have (Police) present prior to the start of first game.
